Ficus Benjamina is an evergreen cultivar, where the leaves are ovate with slim points and variegated leaves with glossy shades of green and white. This cultivar is tender, so usually grown as a houseplant, but can be put outside in the summer months, it doesn't like cold draughts and will often drop leaves as a result.

Water before soil completely dries to the touch. Soil should be kept damp at all times.

Like other Ficus varieties, the Ficus Benjamina will commonly drop leaves if stressed or shocked. Moving your Ficus from one environment to another, exposure too hot or cold drafts (heating/a/c vents, the soil drying out excessively are all common reasons that causes your Ficus Benjamina to drop its foliage prematurely.
