The Hoya Carnosa Compacta, also known as the ‘Hindu Rope Hoya’, has draping vines that resemble thick ropes with their crowded, contorted leaves. These fleshy, curled leaves, which may be either solid dark green in color or variegated with green and white. They have an attractive glossy/waxy appearance. They bloom clusters of small star-shaped flowers that appear to be made of porcelain.
☀ ☀ ☀ Light :
Thrives in bright indirect light.
Water :
Allow soil to dry out completely before watering again.
+ Plant Tip :
Hoyas enjoy some humidity over dry air, so make sure to either mist the leaves with distilled water or have a humidifier running. Hoyas love well-draining soil; an ideal potting mix for this plant would include orchid bark, perlite, and/or coconut coir, which aerates the soil and eliminates the risk of root rot.
