The Sansevieria Trifasciata picked up the name ‘Mother-in-Law’s Tongue’ from the sharpness of the sword like leaves that grow in an upward fashion. This plant is a flowering type, however, when grown indoors it's hard to encourage the growth of flowers. Small greenish white flowers can appear once this species matures in age.

+ Plant Tip :

Make sure to wipe your Sansevieria’s leaves down with a damp cloth. Remove the dead leaves by clipping it at the base where they join to the central rosette. Rotate the plant in the window to keep it symmetrical as it grows toward the light source weekly.
