The Monstera Adansonii, more commonly known as 'Swiss Cheese', gets its nickname from its large, heart-shaped leaves that develop fenestrations, or holes, as the plant matures. This makes the leaves resemble Swiss cheese. The Monstera Adansonii has a fast growth rate and a vining habit. But it will remain at a manageable size when grown in a container indoors.
